The owners of this rest house are a family of four.
First is the father who is known to be simple, private, and mysterious, thus, the architects were inspired to make a façade that exudes simplicity, privacy, and mystery with a plain solid wall.
The interior of the house on the other hand is inspired by the second person, the mother. She is known to be very sociable, thus, the architects created a space where families could spend quality time together.
The rest of the interior is inspired by their two children. Known to be both creative, fun, and adventurous individuals, the interiors reflect spaces that give a sense of freedom, wonder, and adventure.
The YADS Architects likened each family member to dots.
A dot may seem insignificant alone, but when connected to another, it creates infinite possibilities.
Just like this family of four, when connected to one another, becomes the pillar of this rest house.
This rest house intends to welcome different people and those people are like dots as well, with different stories to create, explore, and tell.
